well it all starts with one moment. its that first glance you take when they look different. somethings changed. or at least in your mind it has. as if everything else is tuned out and all you can see is their face looking back at you. the next few moments are weird. its like your mind functions on instinct to cover what just happened. because you're not sure yet. and you're a little confused. because five minutes ago they were a friend. five years ago they were a friend. that was it. and in the matter of one glance that has all changed. so what do you do with it? in a normal case you would tell one of her friends and pose the question of whether or not they think there's a future in it. in a normal case you would take what's happened and realize its a normal reaction from a teenage guy. but in a normal case this wouldn't have happened. this time its.... weird. and as much as you try to dismiss it and jokingly call yourself an idiot for even thinking like that, you still do. because she'd laugh in your face. straight up. and you'd probly laugh too, just to make it seem like it was just as much a joke to you as it was to her. mmhmm... funny how that happens.
