so tahoe was fun. i guess it was better than i thought it was going to be. but i went in with a good attitude which helped quite a bit. got there on saturday and went snowboarding on the crapiest slope (if you could even call it that, it was more like a small steep hill). i attempted to teach my sister to snowboard and she did alright, but the only good i saw come of it was scoring points with a couple of other girls at the resort that i ended up hangin out with . they were from oakland, but i got their numbers so if im ever in that area. haha yea right. anyway that night i headed to squaw valley. drove there by myself cuz none of the other adults were in shape or had enough energy to ski. i get there. get out of the car. reach in my pocket. and low and behold no dice on my wallet. that pretty much sucked. had to drive alllll the way back to the lodge and didnt get to go that night. o well. i was tired anyway. probly a good thing i didnt go. the next day was a BLAST. we woke up and headed to a snowmobiling place. i was skeptical cuz i figured we would be on snowmobiles that could only go like 5 mph or something gay like that. man was i wrong. it was the most fun i could imagine. zippin hella fast across the trails and then hittin straight aways on this frozen lake. it was awesome. we went all the way to the top of this mountain and had the greatest view of lake tahoe i think that there is. it was like a "get down on one knee and propose to your girlfriend" kind of a view. quick trip back down to the bottom of the mountain and head back to the lodge. my dad decided he had enough energy to ski with me that night, so we headed back to squaw valley (and i definitely remembered my wallet this time) and hit the 3.2 mile lighted slope they have at night. and man was that CRAZY AWESOME. we did the long run twice and i hit the jump park a few times. it was alright, but just more assurance that im a speed freak, not a trick guy-comes with being a pilot. and today im back home. so that was the weekend. pretty cool. a few quotes to define the weekend.....
"this will be the universal sign for 'be flexible' "
"Hannah! snow plow!!... here she comes-there she goes"
"these lifts were not designed with men in mind"
"he knows we're on vacation right?"
"aaahhhhh the French"
"look mom, a bucket of water... no its not. its ice melt.... exactly"
"DONT CRUSH THE CHIPS"
"i was trying to figure out why he was offering us flita ritos"
